Message Table controlling boost. I think standalone boost control allows boost by speed (gear) , can be indexed to fuel, ait, oil temp or any other parameter you want. I see no reason to "turn down boost" if you factor in all the parameters listed above. Standalone boost control has the potential to be far superior to traditional ebc's. A lot of tuners can't deal with it because they do not understand PID controllers and how to go about tuning it. Most customers do not realize that standalone a are a blank slate and its up to you to take full advantage of all the features . Typical question is "how much power will it make over alternate solutions"

In the end stand alones have more to do with refinement and control than outright power.
